A popular restaurant located inside an old Victorian fire station is set to reopen its doors.
The Fire Station Brasserie, in New Cut, Chatham, had temporarily closed last month due to staff shortages but will return to trading later today.
The eatery will operate on Friday evenings and Saturdays at lunchtime and evening.
It has now been restored to create a secluded and intimate retreat, and will feature live music performed by local artists.
A spokesman for The Fire Brasserie said: "It will be the perfect place for a cosy date night enjoying our delicious new evening menu, or to catching up with friends for a fun afternoon over a bottomless brunch.
"Due to a shortage of staff throughout hospitality, we took the difficult decision to temporarily close in December.
"However, we are excited to be in the position to now reopen.
"Our dedicated team are delighted to welcome back existing and new clients alike."
