Appeal launched after road rage confrontation which saw man arrested in Arethusa Road, Rochester

A motorist was arrested following a “road rage” incident in which another driver was allegedly assaulted.

Officers were called shortly before 9am last Thursday (February 13) to a report of a disturbance in Arethusa Road, Rochester.

It was alleged the driver of a Ford Galaxy collided with a second vehicle and then threatened the other driver.

Officers attended and a 44-year-old local man was arrested shortly afterwards on suspicion of assault and a driving offence.

He was later bailed pending further enquiries.

The victim left the scene before patrols arrived and has yet to come forward.
