Bus replacement service running from Tonbridge railway station after signal fault at Streatham Common

A bus replacement service is running from Tonbridge today after a signalling system fault has blocked all lines at Streatham Common.

Southern has announced major disruption to and from London Victoria and through Streatham with delays of up to 60 minutes.

Rail users are advised to use alternative routes.

Southern, Thameslink and Gatwick Express tickets are valid for travel of a number of routes including Southeastern trains between Hastings, Ashford International and London Charing Cross.

A bus replacement service is running from Uckfield and Tonbridge.

A spokesman said: "If you intend on travelling, you are advised to regularly check station information screens and journey planners as alterations will occur on a train by train basis.

"Major disruption can be expected to Gatwick Express and Southern journeys to and from London Victoria, as well as Thameslink services through Streatham, with delays of up to 60 minutes, alterations and cancellations to journeys expected.

"The disruption is likely to continue until the end of service."
