With more than 1,000 frames, customers also have the option of designer labels in both ordinary day-time and sunglasses.

Specsavers also has existing shops in Strood, Chatham and Gillingham High Streets.

The Hempstead Valley branch opened on Tuesday, May 2 at the former Onyx art gallery and painting outlet.
