Range Rover stolen from Gillingham found destroyed by flames in Rainham

A stolen Range Rover was discovered destroyed by flames.

The car was found abandoned between fields off Lower Bloors Lane, in Rainham.

Fire crews put out the flames at 1am today, but the 4x4 was destroyed.

Police confirmed it was reported stolen from the St John's Road area of Gillingham yesterday evening.

Spokesman Steve Knight said: "Details of the incident have been recorded for further assessment."
