Co-op on Dickens Estate, Rochester, to reopen after major revamp

A supermarket is set to re-open following a £515,000 revamp.

The Marley Way store, which employs 12 people, will be back in business this Thursday.

Bosses say it will boast an ATM and bakery alongside an increased focus on fresh, healthy produce.

Contactless card payment limits are increased to £45, making it easier, quicker and safer to shop.

Area manager Christie Fossey said: “We are delighted to have had the opportunity to make such a significant investment, the site has been transformed and we are looking forward to welcoming the community back."
