A fire was believed to have been started deliberately in a former secondary school for the second time in a month.
Six fire engines attended St John Fisher School in Ordnance Street, Chatham, at 6.30pm.
No injuries were reported but the fire was believed to have been started deliberately.
Crews were stood down just an hour later.
The school has been left derelict since both sites closed in February 2022 and pupils were moved to a new complex at the bottom of City Way.
The site in Ordnance Street has been earmarked for 139 homes and developers must wait for a decision from the Secretary of State.
Earlier this year, plans to turn the Maidstone Road site in to Aldi were submitted.
It is not the first time the school site has suffered damage.
At the start of the month, two arrests were made and several roads were closed after a fire broke out in one of the buildings.
Crews were also called in August 2024, June 2024 and October 2023.
