Suspected drug dealers from London charged after police investigation in Medway Towns

A pair of suspected teenage drug dealers have been charged after police uncovered an alleged drugs gang operating in Kent.

The duo from London will now appear in court after they were arrested as part of an investigation by specialist officers working to target county lines groups in Medway.

Mohammed Khan-Brown, 18, of Salima Road, London was arrested at his home address on Wednesday and has been charged with five offences.

Police also arrested 19-year-old Kieran Appiah, of Mount Nod Road, London during a search at a house in Livingstone Road in Gillingham on Tuesday this week.

Appiah and Khan-Brown have both been charged with conspiracy to supply crack cocaine and heroin.

Khan-Brown was also charged with possession with intent to supply crack cocaine, possession with intent to supply heroin and possession of cannabis

The arrests come following a Kent Police investigation which started on April 29.

They appeared at Medway Magistrates' Court yesterday and were remanded in custody.

Both are due to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on August 27.
