A supermarket branch will be reopening next week after a refurbishment.

Tesco Express in Sturdee Avenue, Gillingham, shut its doors earlier this month.

The store will be getting new signage and shelving as well as a complete interior decoration.

A Tesco spokesperson said: “Our Gillingham Sturdee Avenue Express store is currently undergoing a refresh to improve the shopping experience for customers.

“We thank customers for their patience whilst the work is undertaken.

“We look forward to welcoming customers to a fully refreshed store after the upgrades are complete.”

It will be reopening at 10am next Tuesday (February 25).
