Suspects charged over county line drug dealing in Medway

Three men have been charged in connection with county line drug dealing.

The charges were authorised last Sunday (January 31) as part of an investigation into the supply of crack cocaine and heroin from London into Medway.

The men were each charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin and being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine between September 25 and January 5.

Haroon Rahim, 18, of Sheringham Avenue, Manor Park, Mohamed Hussein, 21, of Hockley Avenue, East London and Rudolph Roberts, 18, of Charter Street, Gillingham were arrested last Saturday and charged the following day.

Roberts was additionally charged with possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and possession with intent to supply heroin.

The three men appeared before Medway Magistrates' Court yesterday.

Rahim and Roberts were both remanded in custody, while Hussein was bailed following his court appearance.

All three men are due to appear before Maidstone Crown Court on March 1.
