Three people arrested in Medway Street, Gillingham, for drug offences

Three people have been arrested for drug offences following a police stop in Gillingham.

Officers stopped a car in Medway Road, at 6.45pm on Friday, February 2.

When they conducted a search of the vehicle a number of wraps of what is suspected to be class A drugs, mobile phones and a large quantity of cash were seized.

A 50-year old woman, a 25-year-old man both from Canterbury and another man, 25 from Gillingham, were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.

All three have been released pending further inquiries.
