Walkers in Rainham take part in health walk

A group of people braved the weather to walk in aid of physical fitness and health.

Thirteen walkers met at the Wigmore Evangelical Free Church in Wigmore to face the blustery conditions, days before the lockdown was brought in.

The walks are organised as part of Medway Council's A Better Medway scheme.

They are led by experienced walk leaders and take place all year round.

The events are open to all ages and provide a "supportive and fun atmosphere" for experienced walkers, beginners and people who want to be more active.
