Surprise in store at Rochester Station ahead of the Castle Concerts 2019

With the Castle Concerts 2019 coming up in the next two weeks, the organisers have arranged a little surprise to get people in the mood for a party.

From July, 10 - 13 singing sensations will take to the stage in Rochester Castle gardens for the annual music extravaganza.

Tonight according to a cryptic tweet, there will be a surprise in store for the commuters getting off the train at Rochester station.

The surprise will begin at 5.30pm and is dedicated to people who have "been working, so hard", according to the tweet from the Castle Concerts social media account.

What could the surprise be?
Well, musical fans will know "been working, so hard" is the intro of Footloose, from hit show Footloose.

So the train-station could be filled with some toe-tapping, country style, musical theatre action.

But who will be delivering the performance?

Could it be Jess Glynne or Nina Nesbitt who will perform to sold out crowds on Thursday, July 11.

Perhaps Rudimental will be doing a house style remix on the 80s classic, with Example singing along. The pair are due to kick-start the concerts on Wednesday, July 10.

Maybe Collabro who are famed for their musical theatre covers and are supporting The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra on Saturday, July 13, will be singing.

Or Heather Small, who is performing on Friday, July 12 may put a soul spin on the song.

Who knows? We'll find out tonight at 5.30pm.

But if the performers make your want to hear more, you can purchase tickets for the castle concerts here.
