A woman has appeared in court today after she was charged with assaulting a police officer.

Christine Tieuntcheu, 40, Beatty Avenue, Gillingham appeared at Medway Magistrates' Court this morning.

She pleaded not guilty to one count of assaulting a police officer.

The alleged assault happened after an incident at The Strand Leisure Park, Strand Approach Road, Gillingham, on Monday July, 23.

The case against her was adjourned, and Tieuntcheu will appear before magistrates on Thursday, November 22.
