Police were assisted by a helicopter as they pursued a vehicle in the Chatham area at around 5.30pm.
A woman was arrested in the Deanwood Drive area of Rainham, where the vehicle came to a stop.
She was arrested on suspicion of theft.
There were no reported injuries during the incident, of which enquiries are still ongoing.
