Woman in hospital after police chase a car through Cuxton and Strood in connection to drug offenses

A woman is in hospital after a police car chase lead to a crash.

Police spotted a vehicle driving though Sundridge Hill, Cuxton which they suspected could be involved in drug offences.

When officers asked the vehicle to pull over the driver refused and police tailed the car.

As the car spead away from police it smashed into another vehicle in at a roundabout linking Darnley Road and Cuxton Road in Strood

Police continued to chase the car into Rochester until it smashed into a wall in Lower Rochester Road and two men jumped out the vehicle.

Two men have been detained in connection with the incident and an area search is currently taking place to locate a third man.

No serious injuries have been reported but a woman has been taken to a local hospital for treatment.
