A woman has been taken to a London hospital after a car overturned on a motorway.

The M2, coastbound between junctions 3 for Chatham and 4 for Gillingham, was closed for an hour-and-a-half last night after a collision between a car and a lorry.

The car overturned.

Firefighters, paramedics and police were called at around 9.30pm.

One woman was taken to hospital with injuries described as non-life threatening.

The road was reopened at 11pm.
