Woman taken to hospital after being hit by car in Prince Arthur Road, Gillingham

A woman has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car.

Police and paramedics were called to Prince Arthur Road in Gillingham at around 4.20pm yesterday (April 28) after reports of a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.

Crews assessed and treated the patient at the scene before being joined by an air ambulance.

She was then taken by road to King's College Hospital in London for further medical treatment.

The injuries are not described as life-threatening.
