Both Jambang and Chambers are available for Chats on Saturday when they host Wingate & Finchley.

Jambang, 20, adds cover to the full-back department at Chatham as he seeks more experience of men’s senior football, having previously played on loan at National South side Aveley.

Jambang has previously been in the academies at Reading and Norwich before joining the Ipswich youth ranks. He’s yet to make a senior appearance for the Premier League side.

Chambers, 21, played a handful of games for the Gills, after progressing from their youth side, and in between two spells at the club he had a trial at Tottenham.

He played in three EFL Trophy matches for the Gills last season and left the club after three appearances in the Football League, making his EFL debut in March 2022 at Doncaster.

Chambers’ only start in the league came in front of over 30,000 fans at the Stadium of Light in Gills’ game against Sunderland in League 1, just weeks after his first senior appearance.

He’s recently played for the likes of Worthing and Welling United and Chats said: “Josh adds quality and some strength in depth to the club’s midfield ranks ahead of the second half of the Isthmian League campaign.”

Chatham are at home this Saturday (3pm) looking to end a run of three consecutive defeats which has seen them lose ground on the play-off places.

The club are offering a 50% discount on the turnstiles for Saturday’s game to any season ticket holders of another club who have had their game postponed. All kids go free with a paying adult.
