Invicta Dynamos have bolstered their offensive options with the signing of a rival team’s forward.
Luca Pascale has joined the Mos from Romford ahead of the 2025/26 season in NIHL South Division 1.
The 21-year-old played against the Mos for league rivals Romford Buccaneers last season while also turning out for the Romford Raiders in the National League.
Pascale has been described by the club as “a dynamic and adaptable player” with “speed, versatility, and offensive instincts (that) make him a great addition to the Mos lineup, injecting fresh energy and attacking flair into the squad.”
He was named as the Buccs’ forward-of-the-year for the 24/25 season in a team that finished a place below the Mos.
Dynamos head coach Karl Lennon believes the young forward will be a good fit in his roster for the new season ahead.
He said: “It was very clear to me quite quickly that he would fit in well. Despite his young age, he’s been a strong contributor to the Buccaneers for a few seasons now.
“He also gained invaluable experience dressing a good number of times for the Raiders last year.
“He’ll slot in well to our offensive line up and I’ll look forward to seeing him continue to develop with us come September.”
Pascale scored 13 goals in NIHL 1 last season with 29 assists and he also made 18 appearances for the Raiders.
“I’m looking forward to this next chapter of my hockey career,” Pascale told the club.
“Invicta have always been a strong and ambitious team and I’m looking forward to being a part of it.
“I’m excited for what’s ahead this season and can’t wait to get started.”
D-man Dan Scott, meanwhile, hopes a third season with the Dynamos will be one which sees them pick up some silverware.
Scott has agreed to a third season with the Mos and hopes consistency can bring them more joy next season - something head coach Lennon feels his defenceman can help bring to the team.
Lennon, speaking to the club, said: “Dan has been a consistent performer for us over the past couple seasons. Not only does he apply himself in a professional manner on the ice but he brings a hugely positive energy to the dressing room, whether that be at a practice or game day.
“In particular you see his experience shine through in the big moments. He is a through and through leader that accepts responsibility, especially when I think about special teams or such scenarios.
“I’m very happy that he is back for another season, it’s been a pleasure to work with him until now and am looking forward to another season together.”
The blueliner said: “I’m really looking forward to coming back to the Mos next season. I have loved my time here so far so one more year won’t hurt.
“Hopefully we can be a more consistent team this season and give the fans something they deserve which is some silverware.”
