Isthmian League round-up: Chatham goalkeeper Nathan Harvey sent off after scoring winning goal at Burgess Hill | Ramsgate score twice in added time to draw with Haywards Heath | Margate come from two down to beat Premier leaders Hornchurch

Chatham goalkeeper Nathan Harvey was sent off after scoring the winner on a crazy day at Burgess Hill.

Chats were already a man down following Dean Beckwith’s first-half red card when Harvey’s wind-assisted clearance caught out opposite number Will Huffer to give the Isthmian South East title-chasers a 76th-minute lead.

An incident moments later saw Harvey sent off, leaving Chats assistant boss Danny Kedwell to go in goal.

That still wasn’t the end of the drama, with Burgess Hill substitute Hayden Skerry dismissed in the last minute as nine-man Chatham held on for a 1-0 victory.

Kevin Hake’s side are only two points off top spot after leaders Ramsgate drew 3-3 with Haywards Heath in another incident-packed game.

Oscar Housego scored an 89th-minute penalty as bottom side Corinthian beat Chichester 2-1.

The Hoops came from a goal down to take the points with Charlie Clover scoring their first-half equaliser.

They’re only a point behind Faversham after Adebayo Akinfenwa had a penalty saved by outfield player Harrison Pont as Sittingbourne won the Swale derby.

VCD remain in the relegation play-off spots after a 1-0 defeat at Littlehampton.
