Medway Area Sunday League round-up (12/09/21)

It was cup weekend in the Medway Area Sunday League.

Tom Pettett, Luke Armour (2), Ricky Gundry (3) and Jack Couzins were all on target for Chatham Town SR in their 7-0 Senior League Cup win at Intergills.

Sam Dale scored for Borden Park Wanderers but they lost 4-1 to Rainham Kenilworth Athletic, for whom Zack Wells, Suliman Sadiq, Ryan Jones and an own goal proved decisive.

Scott Potter, Ben McManus and Adam Bush helped Cliffe Woods Colts defeat Jimmys Giants, for whom Tom Ball scored.

Emanuel Oli bagged all for goals for Bells in a 4-1 win at Medway Sport while Michael Freeman and Taylor Bond scored for Wigmore in their 4-2 defeat to Cuxton 1991, Harry Martin, Robbie Keen, Dan Haggar and Evan Greenway on target for the victors.

There were goals galore in the Junior League Cup.

Milton & Fulston United thrashed Medway United Central 16-1 with Lewis Creed and Luke Mills both scoring five goals. Charlie Little, Charley Kavanagh (3), Philip Jewell and Jordan Burton completed their tally.

New Brompton 1893 lost 11-0 to Swallow Rise 93 - Caleb Luckhurst (4), Steve Keats (2), Jamie Wark, Alan Bangura, Kane Parkes and Aaron Brooks (2) on target.

Five Bells ran out 14-1 winners over Palmerston Athletic. Craig Elliot, Phil Chapman (3), Lewis McCloud, Remus Bishop (2), Ben Smith (4), Lance Skinner (2) and Tommy Hinckley scored for Five Bells

Ashley Trigg, Eddie Pattenden and George Parkinson helped Cliffe Woods Colts Reserves to a 3-1 victory at Cantium.

Sean Turner and Mike Dungworth netted for Cross Park in their 2-0 win over Bredhurst Juniors.

Ross Wornham (2), Joel Wakefield, Sam Crayford and Matt Gillen scored for High Halstow in a 5-3 win over Gillingham Town.

Kent Marina lost 10-0 to Anchorians Athletic, Taylor Tuck-Brown (6), Jack Paine and Will Mawson (3) doing the damage.

Rochester were shaded 3-2 by Anchorians United despite goals from David Killick and Jordan Vidler. Ross Okeowo, Martin Mwaungulu and Ife Famoriyo led Anchorians to victory.

Jordan Baxendale and Billy Per saw Swale Madrid to a 2-1 victory over FC Catalans, whose goal came from Jon Murray.

William Flack's lone strike for Thamesview was not enough as visitors Medway Invicta won 3-1 through James Hurcomb, Oge Agwu and Michael Hurcomb.

Riverside Academy triumphed 7-4 at The Walnut Tree thanks to goals from Asabere Boateng, Hans Mogere, Josh West, Jordan Gower (2), Stephen King and Michael Okoh.

Hat-tricks from Connor Rayfield and Jake Griffiths plus William Tuffin and Thomas Lichfield goals saw Thamesview Rangers win 8-1 against Rainham Eagles in the Junior League Trophy.

Timin Firmin's goal was not enough for Lipscomb Fiat as Bredhurst Juniors United won 4-1 thanks to Loluis Harrison, Craig Sherlock and a John Clarkson brace.

Graeme Barnes (3), Dan Hawkins, Nathan Young (4), Callum Dimech were all on target for Medway Knights in their 9-1 victory over Bredhurst, for whom Harry Balderston scored a consolation.

Medway Rovers 20 lost 4-3 to Real 60. Tiago Oliveira (2) and Albert Thompson scored for Medway but Charlie Burn (2), John Hickman and Brad Taylor led Real 60 home.

Michael Wells and Gary Manderson scored for Medway United West in a 2-1 victory against Pegasus 81, for whom Archie Bentley replied.

Milton & Fulston Zebras had Samuel Seeking (2) and David Otto to thank for a 3-1 win at Pentagon Reserves, who replied through Kieran Daly.

The Stag defeated Rochester Eagles 7-1 courtesy of hat-tricks from Jake Stephens and Ben Tubbs plus a Jake Sangers effort.

Lewis Johnson’s lone strike was not enough for The Stumble as they went down 7-1 to AFC Shorne. Kieran Wells bagged a hat-trick, Thomas Osmond, Marcus Sutton and Sam Hunt (2) completed the scoring.
