Medway Area Sunday League round-up (05/12/21)

New Division 4 leaders AFC Shorne ran out 6-1 winners over Milton & Fulston Zebras.

Kieran Wells scored four times with Marcus Sutton and Jack Clover completing their tally, Liam Harris replied for Fulston.

Kent Marina Gunners lost 4-0 to Thamesview Rangers, who had Luke Fuller, Louie Bull, Luke Griffiths and Connor Rayfield to thank for the victory.

Ben Tubbs, Jessie Yale and Richard Coburn were on the scoresheet for The Stag, 3-0 winners at Medway Sport XI.

Division 3 leaders Real 60 shaded Rainham Eagles 2-1 as goals from Bradley Taylor and Kai Osborne outscored Liam Baker's effort.

In Division 2, Cliffe Woods Colts Reserves and Medway Invicta shared the points in a 2-2 draw.

Ashley Laurence and Eddie Pattenden netted for the home side with Kai Forder and AkimNyoni replying for the visitors.

Simon Almond, Ryan Evans and James Whitaker were on target for Medway United Central in their 3-1 win against Palmerston Athletic in the bottom of the table clash. John Wright replied for Palmerston.

Division 1 leaders Swallow Rise 93 came out on top in a game of eight goals, winning 5-3 against Cliffe Woods Colts A.

Aaron Brookes (2), Hayden Chipping, Caleb Luckhurst and Kane Parkes scored for Swallow, Jack Burnham (2) and Lenny Middleton netted for Cliffe Woods Colts A.

Thomas Wooding, Kye Humphrey, Jae Humphrey and Sam Slipper scored in ASK Medway's 4-2 win over New Brompton 1893.

Jez Hammond (2), Dylan Kenney, Tom Snow and Luqman Adesina were all on target for High Halstow as they ran out 5-1 winners over Riverside Academy.

Super League leader Quested ran out 8-1 winners over Cliffe Woods Rangers. Fjord Rogers (3), Frazer Rogers, Ben Brown (2), Sam Welch and an own goal all scored, Ben Blake scoring a consolation for the hosts.

Rainham Kenilworth Macks and Cliffe Woods Colts drew 2-2, Shaun Butler with both goals for Cliffe Woods Colts.

Caleb Dyce and James Beason (2) saw Medway Rovers 17 through to the next round of the Senior Charity Cup by beating Eagles 3-1.

The Junior Charity Cup tie between FC Catalans and The Walnut Tree went to extra-time and then penalties before The Walnut Tree won 4-2.

Arthur Melo and Nicky Thomas (2) saw home Gillingham Town 3-2 against Kent Marina 19 who scored through Dean Nash and Josh Waters.

Callum Burton and a brace by Ellis Lentell was not enough for Hempstead United as they lost 6-3 to Thamesview, who scored through Deleon Wright, Gary Clark, George Allan (2) and Lewis Dunkerley (2).

In the Junior Charity Trophy, Kieran Nash and Louis Neale ensured London Road progressed to the next round with a 2-1 win at Fleur De Lis, whose goal came from Tyler Vaughan.

Will Holden, Ethan Brown and Sanjeev Sureshkumar were on target for Pegasus 81, who were 3-0 winners over The Stumble.

Goals from Liam Green and Timon Firmin were not enough for Your Move Chatham as Pentagon Reserves ran out 6-2 winners thanks to James Brightwell (2), Lee Clark (2), Bobby Bistoquet and Bradley Killick.
