Ndjoli has joined Scottish Premiership side Motherwell for the remainder of the current campaign.

It’s the second SPL stint for the young forward after spending last season on loan at Kilmarnock. The striker joins the Fir Park side after playing 18 times for the Gills and netting three times.

He found himself down the pecking order in Steve Evans’ side, with Mikael Mandron, Brandon Hanlan and Alex Jakubiak ahead of him.

His opening goal for the Gills came against Newport County in the League Cup but he was sent-off moments later for conceding a penalty. His other two came in the same match, scoring both as Wycombe were beaten 2-0.

In Gills' game against Southend, Ndjoli missed two penalties. Evans said the player was in tears following the misses.

Evans spoke with Bournemouth loans manager Carl Fletcher last week regarding the player and all parties decided it was best if he seeks options elsewhere.

The Gills added a new loan signing themselves - taking them back up to five in their squad - with Jordan Roberts arriving from Ipswich Town for the remainder of the season.
