Noel Mbo scored twice as Gillingham’s reserves claimed a comfortable win in Essex on Tuesday night.
Aaron Simpson and Mbo netted for the Gills in the opening half against the Beach Boys.
Leroy Hlabi headed in a third with 10 minutes left before Mbo rounded off the victory with a fourth against the National League South side.
The Gills team was largely made up of first and second year pros, along with a handful of more senior players, including Liam Nash, Navid Nasseri and Darren Oldaker.
Bradley Stevenson shot wide early on against Concord and Ben Chapman also tried his luck from distance, the captain for the night also shooting the wrong side of the woodwork.
It was left-back Simpson who put the Gills ahead, with 10 minutes gone, finding the bottom corner from just inside the area.

Hlabi replaced Nash and within seven minutes he had the ball in the net, heading home to put the Gills 3-0 ahead. The home keeper made a good save to deny the young striker a second moments later.
