The Shouting Men column with Gillingham midfielder Scott Wagstaff

We want to make the play-offs and we are adamant that we have a great chance.

That is our aim and we are going to keep going until it is mathematically impossible.

Bradford were right in the mix three or four weeks ago and now they have dropped off. If we beat them this weekend we can go above them.

I have some good memories of games at Bradford previously and hopefully there will be a few more this weekend.

I got promoted there with Bristol City, which was a great feeling, we won 6-0 that day. I have also scored there a few times.

It was great to get back into the starting line-up at Portsmouth (a fortnight ago). First half wasn't great but we stuck in there and second half we were excellent.

It was nice to be back out there enjoying it again. It was my first start for a long time and the gaffer kept saying 'have you got another five?' and I was like 'yeah, yeah, of course' but then Hessy played me out wide and I was starting to cramp up.

I just tried to stay out as long as I could because the boys were doing well.

It had taken me a while to get back into the team, which I understood, because the boys were playing well and you can't change a team that are playing well and getting good results.

The league is so tight at the minute and if we can go on another run that really puts us right in the mix.

We believe we have a great chance and these are the games we need to be winning to be pushing towards that sixth place.

There is no pressure on us because of where we were at the start of the season. The gaffer has come in and done a great job and all of the boys have been playing for him. He has given us that new lease of life.

He just lets us go out and enjoy it and the fans can see that, especially away from home where the pitches are probably a little bit better for us to play our football. I have heard the pitch isn't great for Saturday but it will be a good test for us.

It's likely to be another big crowd which our lads thrive off.

I have been promoted a couple of times and the team spirit here within the squad is up there with one of them. There is not one bad egg in the team, everyone gets on well with each other.

We are getting to know how each other plays and that is key for us. I have Luke O'Neill behind me and I know what he is going to do with the ball. I know where to run for him and where not to run for him.

You get that link with certain players. I have really enjoyed playing with him whenever I have come on or started games.

It is great when you get used to playing with someone and you enjoy playing with someone. You know what they are going to do it makes your job so much easier. You want to work extra hard for him if he is in trouble and you get back. We have a good team spirit at the minute and we're going well.
