It’s the last chance to submit nominations for the inaugural Thanet Community Awards.

There are now just days left until the November 27 deadline.

The awards winners and runners-up will share £10,000, with the chosen charities and volunteers to be announced at New Year ceremony at The Yarrow Hotel in Broadstairs.

The Thanet Community Awards are organised by the KM Charity Team and run in partnership with Ramsgate-based offshore wind farm London Array, Westwood Cross shopping centre, and the Thanet Extra – and the latter three will each present a £2,000 cheque to a charity of their choice.

A further £4,000 will be distributed among three runner-up charities and three individual volunteers.

In addition, Westwood Cross and Thanet Extra will champion their chosen causes for 12 months.

Any charity, good cause, or voluntary group based at or operating in Thanet is eligible to submit a nomination for an award.

Nominations for a single volunteer or group of volunteers in the district can be made by anyone wishing to say a big thank you to them for their dedication.
