The quiz, which takes place at the Ashford International Hotel on Friday June 21, will raise funds for Kentish Express charity of the year the Stroke Association, along with KM Charity Team services supporting child literacy and road safety, and one good cause chosen via prize draw.

The quiz is supported by Ashford-based businesses including Barclays, Specsavers, Office Angels, Eurostar and legal firm Hallett & Co.

Hallett & Co trainee solicitor Jason Southcott said: “Hallett & Co is always delighted to support local charities and the community at the Ashford Big Charity Quiz.

“We have participated in the Big Charity Quiz for the last seven years, and we look forward to a brilliant night once again.

“Help us in making a difference and having fun whilst doing so, by getting a group of friends or colleagues together to form a team at this year’s Quiz.”

There will be a number of prizes for teams taking part, with the winners securing a place in the Big Quiz county final.

There will be a raffle featuring Hornby collectables. Any organisation entering a minimum of three teams will be presented with a prize for their best-performing group. And one quizzer selected at random will have the chance to win two Eurostar tickets in the timed ‘Win in 10’ mini-game.

The quiz is also supported by Kent brewer Shepherd Neame, who will be providing the drinks for the charity Spitfire bar, with Barclays match-funding all purchases.

The cost of taking part is £65 for a team of up to eight people, but a £10 discount is available when using the discount code KMNEWS19. Book and find out more at www.KmBigQuiz.co.uk.
