At Active Future in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, we run senior fitness classes designed for older adults at all levels of fitness.
We offer group classes as well as one-to-one training for clients of any age.
Each session is tailored to your level of ability, and accommodates for and helps people get fit who have difficulty with arthritis and other issues.
Every Wednesday 1.30pm there is a free balance class for Parkinson’s
And at 3pm a free chair yoga class for people with or recovering from cancer.
Owner Charlotte Fairs specialises in older Adult Fitness, making it a fun exercise, improving balance, well being and general care.
The classes are easy to get onto or Charlotte can help by giving her a call.
All classes are a way of meeting other people or doing solo.
Yoga/ Chair Yoga
This is a chair based yoga. At 3pm on Wednesdays - 30 minute session.
These mixed-ability classes have a fun, non-judgemental atmosphere that focuses on doing what you can. These fun, simple classes combine aerobic fitness with strength exercises to give you a complete workout and keep your body in great shape.
It's a friendly, outgoing group and we always have such a good laugh! The most important thing is that you come and enjoy yourself – the rest will follow.

Just because our classes are gentle, doesn't mean they are dull. Our clients help each other have fun and stay motivated as we work on strength, balance, and coordination through a series of chair-based and standing exercises. Improving your arm and leg strength will help you stay safe and active in your own home and get the most out of life.
