A new Turkish restaurant and bar set in the heart of Maidstone is the place to be this summer.

Bliss Bar & Restaurant in King Street, next to the Mall Maidstone, has everything you could want for the ultimate Turkish dining experience.

Among the key features are a cosy outdoor seating area with a retractable roof – perfect for those long summer evenings.

It also has a charcoal grill, from where delicious traditional Turkish dishes are produced, including sheesh kebabs and meze, as well as fresh seasonal salads, tasty soups, tortilla wraps, stews and casseroles. Pasta and seafood are also on the menu.

During the day, the bar and restaurant serves coffee and other refreshments.

In the evening, signature handcrafted cocktails, spirits, wine and beer are also served.

There is a live DJ on Friday night and live music on Saturday.

The venue can also be hired for birthday and engagement parties, anniversary celebrations or corporate functions.

The restaurant and bar is open from Monday to Thursday between 11am and 10pm, Friday from 11am to 1am, Saturday between 11am and 3am, and Sunday from 11am to 10pm.

It also offers a takeaway service.
