Maidstone Market will be running a series of exciting community events over the coming months.

There has been a market in Maidstone since the 13th century and it is under cover and also has outside pitches, is held every week on Tuesdays and Saturday between 7.30am and 1pm.

There are a host of stallholders selling everything from fresh fish, groceries, baked goods, crisps, sweets and drinks to flowers, antiques, ladies clothing, pet food and second-hand items and more

Other stalls serve delicious traditional Indian and Goan food and there is a Hungarian street food stall selling dishes every second week.

The organisers are particularly looking for new fruit and vegetable traders and butchers.

Pitches for the market cost from £20, while the car boot is £10 per pitch.

There is also a café and toilets available.

The market is easily accessible by foot and public transport, being right next to Maidstone West Rail Station, and there is parking on site. The Market is located on Barker Road behind the Odeon Cinema Complex at Lockmeadow, ME16 8LW.
