The Ashford Food & Drink Festival will be returning to Ashford Town Centre for a third time this summer, as a one-day event on Saturday 28 June.
2025’s Ashford Food and Drink Festival is going to be brought to you from Ashford Borough Council and Love Ashford as a one-day event, giving you the chance to experience mouthwatering flavours and tastes from all over the globe.
On Saturday 28 June Ashford Town Centre will be lined with over fifty food and drink stalls and a day full of fun for the whole family.
From Ashfood! at Elwick Place with street food and live music to the Community Spotlight Stage in the lower high street hosting food and drink demonstrations and talks alongside Radio Ashford’s Sam Griffin DJing and serving up lots of fun!
At the bandstand kids can interact with the Cardboard Kitchen and take part in the Great Ashford Sarnie Trail! There are pizza making sessions at The Ashford Cinema and an array of live theatre performances, including the mission to stop Caspian the Crab from being cooked in County Square!
This year’s festival will also feature The Great Ashford Sandwich Competition, which is being co-run with KMFM. Entrants are encouraged to create bizarre but brilliant combinations and all will be awarded a £200 County Square Entertainer voucher and £150 Everest Inn family meal as well as appearing on selected Ashford Town Centre eateries throughout July.
“I am absolutely thrilled that Ashford Borough Council and Love Ashford are bringing the Ashford Food and Drink Festival into the town centre this year making it the third year for this event” Keli Nolan-Lyons, Town Centre Regeneration Manager for Ashford Borough Council, said. “This year, we are packing all the excitement and deliciousness into one fantastic day’.
“I am looking forward to the vibrant atmosphere throughout the town centre and experiencing the chance to see everyone having a great day, eating and drinking their way from stall to stall, experiencing street theatre and taking part in the Great Ashford Sandwich competition, as well as supporting all of our wonderful hospitality businesses.”
