It can be expensive to keep the kids fed and watered when they’re not at school.
If you are looking to treat them to a meal out during half term, or just want a break from the cooking, here’s a list of the restaurants and cafes with kids eat free or £1 deals.
ASDA
Asda has extended its exceptionally popular £1 kids deal until the end of the year. No minimum spend is required for children to get access to the promotion – and they’ll have both hot and cold options to choose from subject to availability.

Start the day well with a tasty breakfast or brunch – where two children aged under 16 can get a free breakfast with one paying adult.
An unlimited breakfast for an adult, including hot and cold drinks, costs £10.99. The deal is available every morning but restaurant bookings may be required during busy periods.

Up to two children can eat for free at any time of day between Monday, May 27 and Friday, May 31 at Bill’s, when one adult orders any main dish from the breakfast, lunch or dinner menu.
Bill’s children’s menu features family favourites including its famous buttermilk pancakes, mac & cheese, and fish fingers and chips.
