Three seriously injured and taken to Kings College Hospital after Greatstone crash

Three people have been seriously injured and taken to a London hospital after a three-car crash in Greatstone yesterday.

The air ambulance landed shortly after the collision in Coast Drive around 3.30pm.

The driver and passenger of one car and the driver of another vehicle were all rushed to Kings College Hospital.

Emergency crews, including firefighters, police and paramedics rushed to the scene.

Fire crews had to cut people free from the vehicles using hydraulic rescue equipment.

A police spokesman said the victims injuries are serious but not thought to be life threatening.

The road was closed while emergency crews worked but reopened around 9pm.

Anyone who witnessed the collision but has not spoken to police is asked to call 101 quoting incident 24-701.
