Air ambulance spotted at St Mary’s Road, Dymchurch, before flying to Ashford

An air ambulance was spotted on a recreation ground this evening.

Bystanders reported seeing the specialist crew arrive in Dymchurch at about 5pm following reports of an incident in the high street.

The Flightradar website shows the helicopter took off from St Mary’s Road at 5.30pm before landing at William Harvey Hospital in Ashford minutes later.

The nature of the incident or the condition of anyone affected is not yet known.

Ambulance crews have been contacted for comment.
