Film crews have descended on Romney Marsh to film a drama starring Jude Law.
The Sherlock Holmes star, who has recently appeared as the villain in Captain Marvel, is playing the lead role in upcoming miniseries The Third Day.
The six-part series for HBO and Sky Drama sees Law, 46, play a man called Sam who stumbles on sinister secrets and bizarre rituals in a mysterious island off the coast of Britain.
Greatstone residents saw film crews arriving in Lade Car Park yesterday.
The car park is expected to be used as a base of operations for the film crew as they go to different locations to film.
It is thought that the crews will be in the car park until early Thursday morning.
This is the second time in a matter of months that BAFTA-winning actor Law has been in Kent as part of the series, having filmed on the Isle of Sheppey in July.
The series will also star Katherine Waterston (Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them), Naomie Harris (Skyfall, Pirates of the Caribbean) and Paddy Considine (Hot Fuzz).
It is expected to air on HBO, Sky Drama, and Now TV in 2020.
