Appeal to trace man with links to Romney Marsh who is wanted in connection with serious assault

A man wanted in connection with a violent assault could be hiding in Kent.

Detectives from Met Police are re-appealing for information to trace the whereabouts of Patrick McDonagh, 21, who has links to Romney Marsh.

McDonagh, 21, who is of no fixed address, is wanted by officers in relation to an assault that took place in Bullsmoor Lane, Enfield on Monday, April 12.

A vehicle was driven at a 21-year-old man causing serious injuries.

The victim remains in hospital in a critical condition.

McDonagh was last seen in Cricklewood, Barnet on the week beginning Monday, April 26.

He has links to several areas including New Romney and Old Romney, but also Watton-at-Stone in Hertfordshire, Cheshunt EN8, Golders Green NW11 and Enfield.

"I urge anyone who knows his whereabouts to contact us immediately."

Det Con Terri Batts, from the Met Police, said: "We believe that people close to Patrick maybe assisting him in evading police.

"I urge anyone who knows his whereabouts to contact us immediately.

"He should not be approached. If you see him please dial 999."

Anyone who has information regarding McDonagh's location, or who has information or footage relating to the incident, should call police on 101 or tweet @MetCC quoting reference CAD 7143/12Apr.
