A man has been taken to hospital after a group attacked him at a high street barber shop.
There was a huge emergency response in New Romney High Street after the violence erupted shortly after midday.
Multiple police vehicles and ambulances were spotted in the area this afternoon.
A police spokesman said: “We were called to a report a man had been assaulted by a group of people at a business premises in New Romney High Street at 12.20pm.
“Emergency services attended and the victim has been taken to a local hospital with injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.
“Officers remain at the scene carrying out enquiries and an investigation is ongoing.”
An ambulance service spokesperson says paramedics treated the man at the scene before he was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
