Police say elderly woman who was missing from New Romney has been found

An elderly woman who had been missing for nearly 24 hours - has now been found safe and well.

Enid Hardes, 73, from New Romney was last seen in the town centre area at about 9.30am yesterday.

But this evening, officers said Mrs Hardes has been found safe and they thanked all those who shared the appeal and assisted with their unquiries.
