A busy A-road is partially blocked in both directions following a “severe” crash this morning, with bus operators warning of possible cancellations.

The A259 is affected between Brenzett and New Romney, with traffic building near Five Vents Lane in Old Romney.

Two cars have been involved, with Kent County Council traffic teams describing the incident’s severity as high.

It is not yet known if anyone has been injured.

Stagecoach has said the 103 at 7.49 from the Pilot will be delayed as a result.

Police have been contacted for comment.
