Two people have been injured after a crash closed a busy road.

The victims were taken to hospital following the multi-vehicle collision in Greatstone this afternoon.

Police, fire and ambulance services closed off The Parade while crews dealt with the incident, which involved three cars.

A police spokesman said: "We were called to a report of a three-vehicle collision in The Parade, Greatstone at 1.05pm today.

"Officers attended along with South East Coast Ambulance Service and Kent Fire and Rescue Service and two people were taken to a local hospital".

All parts of the road have since been reopened.
