Ambulance crews are at the scene of a crash on a busy A-road this evening.

The A256 is closed in both directions following the accident, which was first reported just before 8pm.

It is currently blocked off between the Richborough roundabout and Discovery Park.

It is not known how many vehicles are involved or if anyone has been injured in the crash.
