Reports suggest all the pupils were taken off the bus safely and picked up by another.

The road was blocked with drivers diverting motorists around the accident.

One resident, Frank Todd, said he stepped in to hand out tea and coffee to the drivers.

He said: "I just made tea and coffee for the drivers so they're happy. Everyone's okay, just smashed windows all down one side."

The road is now clear.
