Gogglebox star Dom Parker may have fallen at the first hurdle on The Jump but not all is lost as the posh couple announce their very own chat show.
Mr Parker, who owns the Salutation in Sandwich with his wife Steph, was knocked out of the winter sports reality TV programme on Sunday night.
The 49-year-old suffered suspected concussion earlier in the week from an accident whilst training.
Then when he went up against JLS star JB Gill, he lost his place in the show.
However, the couple have now announced they will be hosting their very own chat show.
They landed a one-off special with Ukip leader Nigel Farage last year and will now have their own spin-off programme.
The posh pair are developing a series in which celebrities visit their Kent home before being grilled.
Speaking to Radio Times, Steph said: “We are looking forward to it very much. We haven’t quite got the line up just yet, but I’m looking forward to some people who we don’t normally see sitting back and relaxing and drinking my really filthy Irish coffees.”
The concept for their own chat show had been rumoured before but it has now been confirmed.
Steph also suggested she would love to get David Cameron on the programme.
She added: “I would probably ask him to walk the dog and ask him to perform some basic chores to make him feel at home. And probably supply him with a good whisky. I think that would do the trick.”
Steph and Dom meet Nigel Farage was shown on Channel 4 at the end of last year and saw the couple having plenty to drink with the politician.
It is not yet known when the chat show will be aired.
