A jury in the case of an artist accused of raping a woman has been dismissed after being unable to reach a verdict.
Robin Stratton, 30, faced one count of rape which reportedly happened in Sandwich.
Canterbury Crown Court heard claims that the attack took place at the woman’s home in 2017.
The Crown Prosecution Service will now decide if it will seek a retrial for Stratton, of Frankham Street in Deptford.
A hearing to consider the next steps will happen on July 23 at the same court.
