Air ambulance lands after schoolboy falls 25ft from tree

Primary school pupils were paid a surprise end-of-term visit by the air ambulance after a boy fell 25ft from a tree and was flown to hospital.

The Kent, Sussex and Surrey Air Ambulance landed in Kippington Meadow following the fall involving a young child from St Thomas Catholic Primary School in Sevenoaks.

It is believed to have landed shortly after 4pm yesterday and police also attended the incident.

Kent Police, KSS Air Ambulance and South East Coast Ambulance Service have been contacted for a statement.
