Boris Johnson visits Sevenoaks in Tory leadership race

Boris Johnson paid a visit to Kent as he continues his bid to become the next Prime Minister.

Boris Johnson, who is the bookies' favourite over rival Jeremy Hunt to win the Conservative leadership race, stopped off at Polhill garden centre in Sevenoaks today.

The former London mayor surprised customers when he arrived at about 11am this morning.

He departed at about 11.30am.

He also visited Orpington already before heading into the county.

He ducked questions on whether he would lift no-deal Brexit preparations on the M20, which have left motorists facing a lengthy 50mph limit.
