Motorway traffic is being diverted after a crash this morning.

The M26 eastbound carriageway between Junction 5 for the M25 and Junction 2a for the M26 has been closed.

Police are at the incident near Wrotham while recovery of a vehicle is being arranged.

Traffic on the eastbound carriageway is being diverted via the M25 to Junction 3 for Swanley to join the M20.

Motorists are being told to expect delays in the area and allow extra time for their journey.

National Highways tweeted: "There are delays of over 90 minutes on the #M25 anti-clockwise at J7 approaching the closure on the #M26 eastbound between the #M25 and J2A."

Police have been contacted for further information.
