A cricket pavilion caught fire last night.

Fire crews were called to the single storey building in Shipbourne, a village near Sevenoaks, after receiving a 999 call just before 6pm.

They attended the pavilion, in Shipbourne Road, and used two hose reels to extinguish the fire inside.

They were at the scene for around 90 minutes.

The extent of the damage is not yet known and the fire is believed to have started accidentally.
