Tributes to David Saunders from Surrey who died in motorcycle crash near Crockham Hill

A motorcyclist killed in a crash near Crockham Hill has been described as "a devoted father and fiancé" by his devastated family.

David Saunders, 28, from Caterham in Surrey, died at the scene of the incident on the B2026 Main Road at the junction with Dairy Lane and Dennettsland Road on Wednesday.

His family said in a statement: "On Wednesday 27 June we sadly lost David who was a loving and devoted father and fiancé.

"He was selfless and changed a lot of people's lives for the better. He has left a massive hole in our lives and he will forever be missed and loved by his family and friends."

Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash, which happened just after 8am and involved a black Mini Countryman and Mr Saunders' green Honda motorcycle.
